Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

In order to improve economic cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey in the field of investments and trade exchange, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey and Ankara Chamber of Commerce organized the Event "Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina" on 5 July in the capital of Turkey.

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić discussed with the Delegation of the Municipality of Kotor Varoš, Mladen Trivunović Deputy Mayor, Slobodan Jurić Director of the Utility Company, and Nedeljko Glamočak delegate at the National Assembly of RS, on the possibilities for cooperation in the investment projects collection owned by the Municipality, their presentation to foreign investors, as well as on the current situation regarding foreign companies running business in this area.

-The total value of the investment is 10,500,000 EUR

At a meeting with representatives of the city of Ningbo, China, the FIPA Director Gordan Milinić arranged a visit of 40 Chinese companies to Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2017

CHINESE STATE AGENCY WILL DIRECT INVESTORS TO BIH

Organizing meeting between officials of the Council of Investors of FBiH and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) it was made another step in strengthening the capacity of the Network for Cooperation toward faster and more efficient resolution of outstanding issues of investors in BiH they face with in their business.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Ph.D. Denis Zvizdić and the Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović discussed on 1 June 2017 with representatives of FIPA led by the Director Gordan Milinić and Foreign Trade Chamber led by the President Ahmet Egrlić about plans for presentations of investment opportunities of BiH to foreign investors and for possibilities of cooperation.

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) met with the Minister of Trade of FBiH Zlatan Vujanović and the Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of FBiH Amir Zukić.

The Director of the company Progress Ltd from Novi Sad Aleksandar Radun visited FIPA in order to invest in the municipality of Bosansko Grahovo. Investment is related to the sheep farm with the initial flock of 1,000 sheep of the breed Romanov with the intention of further enlargement of farm to 7,000 and then to 20,000 sheep. The investor will employ 65 workers.

Representatives of FIPA, led by the Deputy Director Blaženka Mišković received a delegation of the Business Council Hungary - Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to discuss possibilities for improving economic cooperation between the two countries.
