BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
A Business Forum and B2B meetings, Bosnia and Herzegovina – Greece jointly organized by the Embassy of Greece in BiH, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) and the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, were held at the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić and associates talked with the Economic Advisor of the Embassy of Austria in Sarajevo Sigmund Nemeti about new possibilities for developing existing good cooperation between the two institutions.
The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić and representatives of BBI discussed future joint cooperation on attracting foreign investors in BiH and on promotion of the available investment projects, considering that the joint goal of the two institutions is making opportunities for jobs creation and starting new activities and work. They also discussed upcoming International Investment Conference "Sarajevo Business Forum 2016 '(SBF).
Within the Aftercare Program for 2016, representatives of FIPA, the Municipality of Doboj and USAID-Sida GOLD Project visited the company Bioil Ltd. Doboj, representing a Turkish investment (Group IIIa), and met with Mr Ismet Ozturkmen, representative of foreign investor.
The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić spoke with the Director of the Development Agency of the Municipality of Čelinac Aleksandar Branković on the economic opportunities of the Municipality, its projects, as well as the Trade Fair which is to be held in Čelinac at the end of September 2016.
During the visit to the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), the representative of the German company Fliegl Trailer Tim Heise informed the Director Gordana Milinić with his plans to launch a Greenfield investment in BiH, a factory for the production of frames for trailers, and that he expects the assistance of the Agency in order to find a suitable location BiH of about 100 hectares.
The Swiss Ambassador in BiH, HE Heinrich Maurer visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) and talked with the Director Gordan Milinić on the activities of the Embassy and the possibilities for increasing Swiss investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The French Ambassador to BiH, HE Claire Bodonyi visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) and talked with the Director Gordan Milinić about the possibilities for improving economic cooperation between the two countries.
On 16 March 2016, representatives of the Foreign Investments Promotion Agency Ana Kvesić and Marija Crnjac had a meeting with Mr. Sead Džiho, representative of the Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of FBiH.
The Ambassador of the Netherlands in BiH, HE Jurriaan Kraak visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) and talked with the Director Gordan Milinić and his associates about the possibilities of improving economic cooperation between the two countries and attracting Dutch investors in BiH.
