The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić and representatives of BBI discussed future joint cooperation on attracting foreign investors in BiH and on promotion of the available investment projects, considering that the joint goal of the two institutions is making opportunities for jobs creation and starting new activities and work. They also discussed upcoming International Investment Conference "Sarajevo Business Forum 2016 '(SBF).

For the first time, the conference was organized
in 2010 and since then it has been held every year. On the one hand, the
conference brings together business people and owners of projects from Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Albania, Croatian, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia
and on the other hand, potential investors from many countries of the world,
which represents a platform for business networking and exploring investment
opportunities in the region of Southeast Europe.
This year's forum will focus on the sectors of
infrastructure, agriculture, energy, tourism and education. It is expected a
significant presence of investors from the United Arab Emirates, as well as
delegations from four Chinese provinces led by Governors and Directors of Chambers
of Commerce that could have about 150 people.
Also in the framework of the forum there will
be a Business Forum "China + 16 countries of Central and South Eastern
Europe".
As in previous years, FIPA will again take part
in this event which and will have two presentations on investment opportunities
in BiH.
Conclusions of the FIPA-BBI meeting were:
-FIPA and BBI will sign a Memorandum of
Understanding with the aim to work together on promotion of existing investment
projects and on finding investors
-FIPA will sign a Memorandum of Understanding
with the Dubai Export Agency within SBF
-FIPA will participate at the SBF in full capacity;
will have two presentations with the aim to find new foreign investors
