BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
Within the 15th Mostar’s fair of economy 2012, the FIPA Director Jelica Grujic participated at conference on the competitiveness of the economy of B&H and on the challenges of the Croatia entry the EU for Bosnia and Herzegovina which was held in on 29th march 2012.
The FIPA representatives, led by the Deputy Director Blazenka Miskovic, participated on 22nd March 2012 at presentation of the Transition Report 2011, the EBRD’s annual update on reform progress and economic developments across 29 countries from central Europe to central Asia.
Within the program of supporting existing investors in the country, FIPA representatives visited on 13th March 2012 the company Al Shiddi group in Sarajevo and had a meeting with the general manager Mr. Sulaiman Al Shiddi.
The FIPA Director Jelica Grujic met on 20th March 2012 with the representatives of EBRD Libor Krkoska, Head of the Office EBRD u B&H, and Peterom Sanfey, Deputy Director of the Country Strategy Policy Office of the Chief Economist.
A Business forum of the business people of B&H and the Republic of Turkey was held on 16th March 2012 in the B&H Foreign Trade Chamber premises in Sarajevo at the initiative of Anatolian Lions Businessman Association from Turkey.
The FIPA representative, Nina Pobric, with her associates, participated on 15th March at the 30th International Fair of Forestry, Wood Industry, Furniture, Interior Design and Supporting Activities which is being held from 15th to 19th March 2012 in the Centre of Skenderija in Sarajevo.
The FIPA Directress Jelica Grujic met on 12th March 2012 with the Director of Aljazeera Balkans d.o.o. Tarik Dodic within implementation of the Aftercare programme that FIPA has been implementing from 2007.
The FIPA Director, Jelica Grujic, had a meeting on 5th March 2012 at the FIPA residence in Sarajevo representatives of the technical support project of the European Commission “Support to Trade Policy and Capacity Building in Bosnia and Herzegovina Phase II “EUTPP 2”, Ulrich Schroeder, dr. Peter Futo, i Emir Skopljak.
HE Mr. Krita Kraichitti, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand for Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Budapest, visited on 21st February the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of B&H (FIPA) where he met with the Directress Jelica Grujic.
By working voluntary as the FIPA Country Representative in Japan, Shigehiko Nishihama, gave its contribution to establishing the economic cooperation between FIPA and Japan.
