Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Representatives of the Department of Development, Entrepreneurship and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Tuzla, the Ministry of Development and Entrepreneurship of Tuzla Canton and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) visited on 15 October 2014 several companies in the region of the Municipality of Tuzla in order to improve business cooperation with local businesses.

Within the Aftercare program representatives of FIPA and the Municipality of Ilidža, as a member of the Network for cooperation for post-investment support to foreign investors visited on 2 October 2014, the company Compact Invest Ltd Sarajevo and spoke with Mr Moussa Fattah, member of the Advisory Board and Mr Muhamed Prlja, Deputy Director.

Within the Aftercare program representatives of FIPA visited on Friday 10 October 2014, the company Eden Garden Ltd. Istočno Sarajevo and met with the Director Mr Srđan Vranešević. The meeting was focused on business conditions in BiH, business environment and plans for the future investment.

Within Aftercare activities, the FIPA representatives visited on 30 September 2014 the company of "Comsar Energy Republika Srpska" Ltd. Banja Luka - Business Unite Ugljevik, and met with the Director of the Business Unite Ugljevik Lazar Stojanović.

For the third time, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BIH (FIPA) together with the Governments of entities and the Government of District Brčko participated at Expo Real Munich 2014 from 6th to 8th October.

Within the GOLD project (Growth-Oriented Local Development), intermediaries for investing from the United States, France, Turkey and Sweden visited several municipalities in BiH where they were familiarized with locations for investing.

The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency in BiH (FIPA) Jelica Grujic met on 16 September 2014 with the Director of International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group for the Western Balkans Thomas Lubeck.

On 10 September, 2014, in Sarajevo, the Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BIH (FIPA) Jelica Grujic with her associates had a meeting with representatives of the Network of cooperation and post-investment support to foreign investors in BiH and International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.

Municipalities of Teslić, Tešanj and Žepče organized the BEAR Investment Conference on 4 September 2014, in Sarajevo, with the aim to present investment potentials and the economy’s possibilities.

On 28 August 2014, the FIPA Agency representatives visited the company Swisslion - Nevesinje where they met with the Director Radoje Nikolić.
