The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Zenica-Doboj Canton issued a public call for the design, construction, use and transfer of small hydro power plant of “Zuca rijeka” on the river of Zuca in the Municipality of Kakanj. The power of “Zuca rijeka” is 502 kW .

The call was issued for small hydro power plant of Usce on Mala Rijeka which power is of 185 kW, and small hydro power plant of Marusici on Marusicka rijeka whose power should be 341 kW .

As provided by the tender procedure, the bidder shall prepare and submit the Designing Project for all small hydro power plants and the Study on the economic viability of the concession with the assessment in order to protect the environment.

The Study and Preliminary Design should define all technical parameters and estimated cost of the facilities construction with the duty to mention specific investments in KM / kWh and analysis of the construction justification.

"The concession is given in the period of 30 years, starting from the beginning of the production of electricity , but not longer than two years from the date of signing of the Concession Agreement ," it was said in the call.
