Sarajevski kiseljak is one of the leading producers of mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages in Bosnia and Herzegovina and, together with the companies Jamnica plus in Croatia, Mg Mivela d.o.o. in Serbia, Jamnica mineralna voda d.o.o. in Slovenia and Jamnica Water Kft. in Hungary, makes a part of the organisational division of the Beverage Group within the Fortenova Group. With thoughtful investments in modernisation, development and new technologies, the Beverage Group has reached the position of one of the most modern European producers of mineral waters and non-alcoholic beverages with annual production exceeding 600 million litres, making it one or the largest producers in this part of Europe.

The tradition of Sarajevski kiseljak dates back more than 130 years ago when the bottling of natural mineral water started at the 150 to 300 m deep well in Kiseljak, a small town in the Central Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The company Sarajevski kiseljak has grown into one of the most modern producers of mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a leader in the bottled water category.

In 2020, Sarajevski kiseljak put into operation a production line of a new plant in Kreševo where the renowned mineral water brand Sara is bottled. This was the largest strategic investment of the Fortenova Group in the company Sarajevski kiseljak, exceeding in total the amount of 20 million B&H convertible marks.

With the construction of a new plant in Kreševo on and area of 30,000 sq.m, the production and warehousing capacities of Sarajevski kiseljak have been significantly increased which, in combination with modern technology, allows additional increase of annual production output and further strengthening of its market positions.

For a second year in a row, the company Sarajevski kiseljak has ranked high, i.e. third on the list of the most preferred employers in the Bosnia and Herzegovina food industry. The most important underlying reason for the selection of the most preferred employer in 2021 was good relationship with employees, positive working environment, job security, high product quality and possibility of salary increase for which Sarajevski kiseljak, as one of the leading companies in the production of natural mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages in B&H got high scores by the participants in the research organised by the company Kolektiv-MojPosao.ba.
