-Interest in investing in solar energy in BiH was expressed

The Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Blaženka Mišković and her associates received HRH Prince of Jordan Mohammed Abbas Bin Ali, accompanied by several advisers and two businesspeople from Libya.

As a representative of the US Company Eco-Gen Energy, Prince Bin Ali was interested in possibilities for investing in solar energy in BiH, presenting a system of the solar energy production with hybrid generators using lithium-ion batteries, which significantly contributes to energy efficiency and reducing electricity costs. He was also interested in the electricity market, electricity export and price.

Representatives of the Alrabeea Group which produce foams and mattresses, cotton and diapers, and within which operates the factory for the production of all kinds of sandwich panels, have expressed interest in investing in the wood sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina, respectively in the production of furniture.

The FIPA representatives provided guests with the required information related to the electric power sector, stressing the readiness of FIPA to help in establishing contacts with the relevant institutions in the energy sector in BiH, as well as to offer any other support for the investment realization.

Currently available projects in the area of ​​the wood sector were presented, as well as information related to the privatization process 2016.
