A delegation of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) led by the Director Gordan Milinić visited the fair Expo Real in Munich, which takes place from 4 to 6 October 2016 with the aim to find potential foreign investors who would could invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
EXPO REAL is
the largest event of its kind in Europe, where over 80% of the participants are
investors and decision makers. The fair is an ideal opportunity to make
contacts and present projects to potential investors, as well as learning about
the latest trends in the industry. The fair, which brought together more than
1,700 exhibitors and over 36,000 visitors from around the world, the FIPA is
presenting possibilities for investing in BiH through meetings with foreign
companies.
EXPO REAL is
the largest B2B trade fair for real estate and business investment in Europe,
and as such provides the best conditions for establishing business contacts
with representatives from all areas of business and investment, from
development, project funding, to the implementation of projects.
The FIPA
representatives realized numerous contacts with potential investors who have
shown particular interest in the construction and reconstruction of tourism
facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on hotels and spas.
In the first
six months of 2016, about 500,000 tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina,
which is 8% more than in the same period last year. It was realized one million
overnight stays, which is an increase of 6.9% compared to first two quarters of
2015. The constant increase in the number of tourists in the country points out
the need of expansion and development of tourism and accommodation capacities.
