Thanks to the commitment and efforts of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), the Turkish investor and owner of the company Asia Prefabrik from Izmir in Turkey Hasan Asik will start in the next month producing prefabricated houses and containers in the rented premises in Kozarska Dubica. In the same time he signed a purchase contract for buying land in the business zone of Lipova Greda in which he will build his own plant.

100 workers will be employed at the factory, but the plan is further increase of the number of employees in line with the growth of production, given that they already have secured markets for their products.

FIPA established contact with the said investor in May 2016 and the same month had two meetings at which all necessary information were provided and opportunities for investing in which the investor expressed his interest, were presented. Based on the shown interest, FIPA organized visits to the Municipalities of Kozarska Dubica and Laktaši and business zones of Lipova Greda and Aleksandrovac. In addition, FIPA representatives also helped investor in making a letter of intent to invest in order to initiate procedure for allocation of land in the business zone "Lipova Greda".

The result of the FIPA engagement is the fact that the new company has already been opened and the first employments are expecting, in which is reflected the greatest importance, not only of foreign but also domestic investment.
