The office of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Zagreb together with the offices in Bosna and Hercegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro organized for the first time the regional conference AUSTRIA CONNECT SOUTHEAST EUROPE 2016 "Business Subsidies & Financing in SEE".
Conference was very successful
and attended by over 170 participants from more than 130
Austrian companies, potential investors in
South Eastern Europe, as well as managers of Austrian companies from the
region.
On that occasion, on May 19, 2016, due to the great
interest of Austrian
companies, two events Workshop: Bosnia and Herzegovina, were organized by
Austria Advantage.
Deputy Director of FIPA Ms. Blaženka Mišković
addressed a large audience and inform Austrian businessmen on the
positive changes, improvement of business envuronmet and reforms in BiH and our
steps on path towards membership of the European club.
Head of the Investment Promotion Department Ms.
Nina Pobrić held two presentations on business procedures and legislation in
Bosnia and Herzegovina, investment opportunities, best practices, Reform agenda
2015-2018 and Collaborative network for post-investment support to
investors.
The Trade
Advisor forthe Austrian Embassy to BiH and Director of
Austria Advantage Sarajevo Mr. Sigmund Nemeti and Key Account Manager Ms.
Razija Hamidović informed Austrian investors on incentives for companies in
BiH, as results of their intensive several months work, as well as on services
of Austria Advantage.
After
the presentations, investors had questions related to the trainings and pre
qualifications of the workforce, work permits, current projects, incentives
etc.
