-The goal is to promote investment opportunities of BiH to the business communities of the People's Republic of China

Businesspeople from the People's Republic of China, led by the Deputy Director of the Chamber of Commerce for International Trade of China Fan Peikang visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) in order to discuss with the Director Gordan Milinić on the possibilities for economic cooperation between the two countries and investing in BiH.

The delegation of businesspeople was composed of major Chinese companies such as: CGGC International, MCC Group, Power China International Group, DECL, ZYNP Group, etc., which participated at Sarajevo Business Forum and which have already established contacts with several BiH companies and will start business cooperation.

At the meeting at FIPA a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce for International Trade of China and FIPA was signed with the aim to promote economic cooperation between the two countries and potentials for investing in BiH.

The Director Milinić thanked the Chinese entrepreneurs for their and said he expects concrete results of cooperation after signing the document.

Mr Peikang pointed out that he will inform members of the Chamber, which counts 55,000 businessmen, about currently available projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for more detailed information and closer contacts he will invite them to contact FIPA.
