Invited by the Export Promotion Center of Turkey – IGEME, the FIPA representatives participated at the Turkey-Balkans Trade Summit which was held from 11th May 2011 in Izmir.
The Summit gathered the Trade/Economy Ministers from Balkan countries, the Balkan Regional Centre for Trade members (BCTP) (Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey), and representatives of the related organizations from Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Buying Mission participants etc.
The FIPA Director, Jelica Grujic, had a presentation within the Panel „Presentation on trade and investment promotion in the Balkans“ and made attendees familiarized with possibilities for investing in BiH and services provided by FIPA.
The FIPA representatives participated, as observers, at the metering of the BCTP members in which it was discussed on business plan and activities of BCTP in 2012.
The IGEME representatives, as Chairman of BCTP gave proposal that BiH join this organisation and announced that they will send an official invitation for joining in the near future.
The FIPA representatives also had an information desk where they distributed promotional material and gave information to the representatives of the companies interested in investing in BiH.
