THE FIPA DIRECTOR MEETING WITH ALESSANDRA MOSCHITTA

5/13/2011

Ms. Jelica Grujic, Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, met on 13th    May with Alessandrom Moschitta, Second Secretary of the Italian Embassy in BiH. On this occasion, it was discussed on ways for improving economic cooperation between BiH and Italy.

Ms. Moschitta pointed out among others that Italian investors pay more and more attention to Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also that the image on BiH in Italy is much worst than when investors come and persuade themselves of the situation in BiH. Therefore, according to her opinion, it is necessary to further engage in the presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Italy in order that perception on BiH starts changing in a positive direction.

It should be mentioned that FIPA signed an Agreement with the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) in order to organize, in cooperation with the Institute, presentations on possibilities for investing in BiH and to help, among others, the BiH entrepreneurs to establish contacts with their Italian colleagues and institutions.

Besides, Confindustria (Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in BiH) was established in January 2011 aiming, among others, at linking bh and Italians businesspeople in order to improve their cooperation.
