The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić with his associates visited the Municipality of Gacko and met with the Mayor Milan Radmilović and associates.

The meeting was focused on investment opportunities in Gacko. It was
proposed the project of cement plant construction, the project of production of
ceramic products and building materials on the basis of the ash, as well as
projects related to the production of solar panels.
They also talked about possibility for exploiting commercial zone at the
site of the former textile factory.
The FIPA director Gordan Milinić informed the attendees about the mission
and plans of the Agency as well as the support of all authority in BiH, embassies
in Sarajevo and the BiH embassies abroad.
He stressed that the main objectives of FIPA is bringing as much as possible
foreign investors, creating new jobs and significant increase of the inflow of
foreign direct investments which according to the plan of the Directorate for
Economic Planning should be from 880 to 930 million BAM. Therefore, the Agency
has intensified its work and initiated activities on updating the database of
investment projects which will includ projects from the Municipality of Gacko.
