Visit to the company IMACO Ltd in Usora

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), together with representatives of Zenica Doboj Canton Osman Buza and the Municipality of Usora Ante Bonić visited on 29 September 2015 the company IMACO Ltd where they met with the Director Karolina Perić.

The company was founded in 2006 and it is 100% owned by investor from Croatia. It is dealing in the field of installation of cables and electrical assemblies and with final processing of sheet metal, including the production of parts for heavy machine industry (parts for machines, lasers, etc.).

The company exports its products at the German market. For the production needs, they import 90% of raw materials, while the steel is coming from BiH.

They currently employ 46 workers and plan to increase the number of employees in the coming period. They also plan to build a new facility in order to expand existing business activities.

The meeting was focused among others on the business environment in BiH, obstacles and problems that the company faces, as well as on future plans.
