Within the 2nd Congress on cadastre in BiH with international participation held in Sarajevo, the FIPA Director, Jelica Grujic, presented on 29th September the Business Map of BiH developed by the Agency in cooperation with International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The need for an easier access to data on land and spatial data of BiH has been expressed in contact with foreign investors, which the Business Map provides.
The Map represents a centre of information that are of interest for foreign investors and business community, it is open for adding new digital data and enables the public institutions and municipalities to make their data public thought this system and to improve on this way the promotion of investment opportunities of BiH.
The Map is consisted of layers with different available public data, basic maps (orthophoto, topography, hydrology…), infrastructure, political map, social and economic characteristics, etc.
Data are available in advanced geospatial information system (GIS) and web-based database technologies.
