Within the visit of a delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Bosnia and Herzegovina led by Mr. Shahina Mustafayeva, the Minister of Economic Development and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in B&H, Eldar Hasanov, the FIPA representatives led by the Director Jelica Grujic, together with the representatives of the Foreign Trade Chamber of B&H and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H had a meeting with the delegation on 8th November 2011.

On this occasion, the B&H representatives expressed their interest for improving cooperation between the two countries in the field of trade and investments.

The guests were informed on conditions for investing in B&H and on economic sectors which could be interesting for investing and they have been handed the FIPA promotional material and CD with concrete investment projects.

The Minister Mustafayev pointed out that the investments from Azerbaijan could be expected after signing the agreement on promotion and protection of investments and the agreement on avoidance of double taxation between the two countries. The initiative for signing of these agreements is launched.

The representatives of the two countries also agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation between Chambers of Commerce and to organize a business forum in Azerbaijan for presenting possibilities for cooperation between companies of the both countries and projects for investing in B&H.
