FIPA organized the traditional event of awarding the most significant investors in BiH for 2010 in four categories on 14th December in Sarajevo.

FIPA organized the traditional event of awarding the most significant investors in BiH for 2010 in four categories on 14th December in Sarajevo.

The event of “Selection of Foreign investor in B&H” is being organized in order to emphasize the companies whose investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina were the most important in the previous year.

“Selection of Foreign investor in B&H” is an event which offers the unique occasion for presenting successful examples of foreign companies running business in our country that have contributed to have better perception of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that have recognized and used the opportunity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.


„ECO LINE doo PETROVO“ dealing in production of the solid oak furniture, (company created by foreign investor - Dutch De Bommel Group from the Netherlands) was chosen as the most significant investor in the “Greenfield” category (completely new investment).
“HOTEL BRISTOL SARAJEVO” (privatized by Al Shiddi Group, Saudi Arabia) was chosen as the most successful project of privatization and also was awarded in the category of “Opening new working places” within the same project.
„SISECAM SODA LUKAVAC“, dealing in production of light and heavy soda and of other products from soda, (company created by the Turkish Soda Sanayii), was chosen as the most significant investor in the category of “Joint venture”.
The event gathered large number of representatives of the institutions in B&H and representatives of foreign embassies in B&H and other.
