FIPA, Tuzla Municipality and the Ministry of Development and Entrepreneurship of Tuzla Canton visited companies in the Municipality of Tuzla

Within the Aftercare program for 2013, representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), the Municipality of Tuzla and the Ministry of Development and Entrepreneurship of Tuzla Canton visited on 5th June 2013 several companies in the ​​ Municipality of Tuzla.
  

They visited Xella BH doo Tuzla, which is a member of the international company Xella International from Germany. Since 2009, it manufactures and sells building materials called YTONG in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Earth Tec Ltd Tuzla, which represents part of the Earth Tec Group from Italy and which has been producing metal structures and has been dealing in the sector of renewable energy sources.

In addition to these visits, they also met with representatives of Development and Entrepreneurship Centre - Incubator Lipnica that represents a quality instrument of support to the newly formed company which needed this support for survival, as well as to existing companies that can develop under favourable conditions in this Centre.

A meeting was also held with a representative of the company Uni Bristol Ltd. Tuzla, which is investing around 100 million euros in the construction of complex "Mellain", which is one of the largest investments in the past decade in Tuzla.

With representatives of these companies it was discussed about their experience of doing business in Bosnia and Herzegovina, obstacles and problems that they encountered in the business and plans for their further business expansion.

As previous visits, this one is realized through the network of cooperation for post-investment support to foreign investors in BIH, which consists of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) as coordinator of activities, the competent institutions of the FBIH, cantons and municipalities, and which is foreseen by the Agreement on Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BIH and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the Improving the Business Environment in BIH Project.
