According to the visits plan to the local communities, the FIPA representatives for the Region of Herzegovina organized on 24th April 2012 a meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality Ljubinje, Vesko Budincic and Assistant for Public Investment and Development, Božidar Sulaver.
On this occasion, it was discussed on investment opportunities of the Municipality of Ljubinje where the Mayor Mr. Budincic pointed out the companies and the capacities that are not privatized yet or the privatization process wasn’t successful, such as "FTS - Soko" and "Soko - Guma". There is also factory of polyurethane panels, "Soko-paneli" which is not privatized yet, while the clothing production factory "Ljubinjka-export" failed to overcome the initial difficulties of post privatization process.
It was agreed to continue cooperation in implementing the project of “Growing and Processing of Sunflower and other Cereals”, and finding strategic partners, potential foreign investors for the factories, "FTS-Soko", "Soko-Guma" and "Soko-paneli."
