- Increasing interest in investing in the tourism sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Nina Pobrić, head of the promotion department at FIPA,
participated at the panel "Driving Destination Investment and
Finance" as part of the Resilience & Innovation summit.
During the panel, she spoke about the potential for
investments in the tourism sector, challenges faced by investors,
private-public partnership, projects to improve tourism and road
infrastructure, success stories and the lack of systemic image improvement
activities.
The panel was moderated by Ian Taylor, editor of
Travel Weekly, while the other panellists were Sandrine Friscia, from the
European Investment Bank, Matko Marohnić, Horwath HTL and Mirza Karić, Dubos
Consulting.
The Resilience & Innovation Summit was held in
Sarajevo, organized by the US Government through the USAID Sustainable Tourism
Development Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tourism) in cooperation with
partners Global Travel & Tourism Resilience Council (World Council for
Travel and Tourism Resilience) and Travolution.
The summit is a platform for developing new
opportunities and networking local employees with world leaders from the USA,
Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and other parts of the world.
Representatives of important international brands such as Turkish Airlines,
Mastercard, G -Adventures, Travelzoo, Oxford Economics and many others shared
their experiences and best practices with local and international participants,
officials and media.
