The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) and the University of Mostar, within the framework of the 25th International Business Fair Mostar, organized a business forum entitled: "Ready for CBAM and the process of decarbonization of the economy?"

The forum brought together representatives of BiH
institutions, key international organizations, industry, the academic community
and civil society who spoke about the challenges and opportunities associated
with the cross-border carbon taxation mechanism (CBAM).
Since the signing of the Sofia Declaration in
2020, VTK/STK BiH has been actively involved in these transitional processes of
BiH economy, recognizing the potential of green value chains, in terms of
creating new competencies, strengthening the competitiveness of export
potential, maximizing the use of internal resources, reducing waste, preserving
the environment and creating new jobs.
Representatives of FIPA, led by the Deputy Director
of FIPA, PhD Sanja Bazin Crnokić, attended the forum.
