Acting Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija attended the event "Economic Dialogue: Italy - Bosnia and Herzegovina", which brought together representatives of 55 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Italy, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Italian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Agency for Promotion and Internationalization of Italian Companies (ICE).

Minister
of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Staša Košarac and Minister of
Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy Antonio Tajani signed the
"Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of
the Republic of Italy on economic cooperation". The Agreement was
concluded in order to establish an appropriate legal framework for further
strengthening of economic cooperation in favour of improving contractual
relations and creating a framework for institutional cooperation between the
two countries.
Minister
Konaković, Minister Tajani and Minister Košarac opened the economic dialogue.
Addressing
the meeting, the president of the Foreign Trade Chamber, PhD Vjekoslav Vuković
pointed out that the Republic of Italy is a very important trade partner of
Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that a large number of Italian companies operate
and have their own plants in BiH, especially in the textile and metal
processing industry.
