- Cooperation related to the organization of business events and applications for EU funds was agreed.
Acting Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion
Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija had a meeting with the Director
of the International Cooperation Sector of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
of Hungary Flora Palmay and the president of the Committee for the Western
Balkans Attila Galambos. They discussed past cooperation and plans for
organizing business events.
Mr Kubatlija initiated the promotion of the
most attractive projects and benefits for foreign investors in the Republic of
Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through electronic media
publications of the Chamber that are delivered to the addresses of more than
20,000 of its member companies. They also discussed the possibilities of
cooperation between FIPA and Hungarian institutions when applying for projects
for EU funds.
It was established that the relations between
Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina are at a high level, and that political
cooperation is accompanied by the intensification of business and economic
relations, and that there is an increase in direct foreign investments from
Hungary in BiH.
