The Acting Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Marko Kubatlija and the Director of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency HEPA Gábor Jenei signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Budapest, which defined cooperation within the framework of the new program of the Hungarian Government named Foreign Market Growth Program, which supports the activities of Hungarian companies abroad.
Foreign Market Growth Program is a new and
second program of the Government of Hungary, which has shown great interest of
Hungarian companies in investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western
Balkans.
It was
agreed a HEPA support in presenting the investment potentials of Bosnia and
Herzegovina
The
Memorandum of Cooperation includes assistance to the BiH companies to enter the
Hungarian market, and vice versa. Both parties will encourage and support
investments and business promotion activities such as business conferences,
fairs, investment promotion and other export-related activities, and will
cooperate in connection with projects in which Bosnia and Herzegovina is
presented as an investment location within the Growth Support Program to the External
Market that implements HEPA.
On the
basis of the Memorandum, FIPA signed a letter of support for the Lugos company
for the implementation of the solar park project in Trebinje with the company Elektroprivreda
of the Republic of Srpska.
