The Trade Department of the Embassy of Austria in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Austria Advantage organized on 7 March 2023 a webinar for Austrian companies on the topic "Investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina".
The webinar was attended by 38
Austrian companies who had the opportunity to hear about the advantages of
investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and about the legal and tax aspects they have
pay attention to.
Nina Pobrić, Head of the FIPA
Promotion Department, presented BiH's advantages for foreign investments, free
trade agreements, operating costs, education system, availability and cost of labour,
industrial zones, taxes, legal framework for investments and attractive
sectors.
Marta Suda, Trade Advisor at
Austria Advantage Sarajevo, Adis Gazibegović from SGL Law Office and Nedžad
Madžak from Ecovis Matas also spoke at the webinar.
Austria is the largest investor
in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with which we also have a trade surplus.
The increased interest of
Austrian companies in the post-pandemic period for Bosnia and Herzegovina was
recorded, primarily from the metal-processing and IT sectors.
