In order to improve inter-institutional cooperation, a meeting was held between representatives of FIPA and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (MVTEO).
The meeting was also
attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton as
members of the Collaborative Network, which works on post-investment support
for investors, i.e. the Aftercare program.
During the
meeting, the open issues of investors from the Aftercare program were
discussed, and the focus was on agreements on the promotion and protection of
investments and bilateral trade agreements, and the results of these
agreements.
They also
discussed the Law on Direct Foreign Investment Policy in BiH and the planned
changes in that direction.
During the
meeting, the importance of supporting foreign investors in resolving open
issues was emphasized, as well as the assistance that institutions can provide
in this regard.
