As part of the activities of the Collaborative Network and the Post-Investment Support Programme for Foreign Companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) visited the company Voith Hydro Bosnia doo Lukavac.
It was founded in 2020, and after the
completion of the construction of the hall, which was completed in 2022, they
started the production of components for hydropower plants. The value of the
investment is 10 million EUR, and the plan is to employ 150 people.
During the meeting, they also discussed the
challenges the company faced when establishing the company and putting the
production facilities into operation. FIPA will try to remove the mentioned
obstacles through proposals to improve the business environment in BiH.
