The FIPA Directress Jelica Grujic met on 12th March 2012 with the Director of Aljazeera Balkans d.o.o. Tarik Dodic within implementation of the Aftercare programme that FIPA has been implementing from 2007. At the meeting, it was discussed on the B&H business environment, obstacles faced by foreign investors starting from the establishment of the company until the end of the project.

Obstacles stressed by Mr. Dodic on this occasion are related to extensive bureaucracy, to visa liberalization, to long-time procedures for obtaining work permits for foreign citizens and to high contributions on wage. However, despite the stressed difficulties that are now almost exceeded, Aljazeera Balkans has already managed to occupy an important place at the market of electronic media in B&H, but also in the Region.

The directress Grujic welcomed the arrival of such brand in our country, like Aljazeera, and pointed out its importance for economy and for the image of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She estimates that the arrival of such firm sends a strong message to other foreign investors that B&H is a country in which investment of foreign capital is secure and profitable, and it significantly contributes to improve the image in business and in political terms.

In direct contacts with investors, FIPA receives information on obstacles that they face in all phases of their business and investments.

Comments and suggestions of foreign investors FIPA transfers to the competent authorities in B&H for their solution.
