-Organization of the Business Forum in Sarajevo and support for the development of existing Turkish investments
FIPA Director Milica Marković met with a
delegation from the Committee for Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of
Turkey in Istanbul, chaired by Mr Hasan Topaloglu, Chairman of the
Turkish-Bosnian Business Council. The topic of the meeting was the increase in
the number of production investments from Turkey in our country.
They discussed the improvement of the business
environment when it comes to Turkish investors and the possibilities of new
investments in several of the most important economic sectors of BiH.
The organization of a business forum in
Sarajevo was initiated with the confirmation of DEiK, that they will be
partners in the organization.
Mrs Marković also met with Mr Ali Zeybek,
Advisor to the CEO of Hayat Holding, Senior Vice President of the Holding and
Member of the Supervisory Board of Natron Hayat doo Maglaj.
The representative of Hayat Holding, which
operates in 11 countries around the world, spoke about the business experience
in BiH, plans and problems in the work.
FIPA's intervention within its competencies
with the relevant institutions and bodies has been agreed in order to solve the
problems in the work of the company in Maglaj, which employs about 900 workers.
