- Investment potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented
During the 25th WAIPA World
Investment Conference in Dubai, the FIPA Director Milica Marković presented the
investment opportunities and potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including
the business environment of BiH. She pointed out that it is necessary to
actively use the changes in the supply chains, which are current due to the
efforts to achieve less susceptibility to disorders caused by the pandemic.
Potential investors are convinced that
suppliers and production facilities should not be too far from the company's
headquarters, so this is a chance for BiH and the region.
The investment conference organized by WAIPA
was held in Dubai on October 20 and 21, 2021, on the topic of consequences of
the pandemic and new investment trends and investor demands, as part of Expo
Dubai 2021.
The conference brought together more than a
hundred foreign investment leaders and experts, representatives of the world's
leading foreign investment agencies, international institutions, financial
institutions, private sector, leading economists, researchers, and political
representatives and academic community to discuss the latest trends in the domain
of foreign investments.
During the conference, the Director Marković had
a series of meetings with representatives of UNCTAD, OECD, IsDB and agreed on
specific activities to be undertaken in the coming period with the aim to
