Representatives of the FIPA Agency, the Ministry of Economy of the Canton Sarajevo and the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo had a meeting with director and higher official of Telepreformance doo.
Teleperformance SE (TP) is an international company with headquarters
in France, but the founder in BiH is its company from Germany. The company
provides customer care, technical support, debt collection, social media, and
other services around the world. Teleperformance has 383,000 employees across
450 contact centers in 83 countries and serves over 170 markets.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the company employs 600 employees with
intention to increase number of employees.
During the meeting it was discussed about open issues that company
identified for the period of its operation and an overall conclusion is that
governments of all levels in BiH should have been more investor oriented, since
understanding of investors and their needs at the end produce effects and more
results for country economy.
It is important to mention that company is satisfied with labor
force in BiH, and they expect to increase significantly the number of
employees, but also recognizable support from government side should be
provided, and bureaucracy/administration need to be more effective.
The meeting was organized as part of Aftercare program – Post
Investment Support to Investors in BiH (Aftercare program is organized with
technical support of IFC and British Embassy in BiH).
