Acting director of
Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) Ms. Milica Markovic and president of
Federal Chamber of Commerce Mr. Mirsad Jasarspahic discussed new cooperation
possibilities between the two institutions and about activities on attracting
potential investors.
Ms. Milica Markovic
informed president of the Federal Chamber of Commerce with the Agency’s
forthcoming plans and initiated organization of the event that would offer the
most adequate solutions for attracting new investments and encouraging existing
ones for reinvestments.
Considering a fact that
global economy has experienced recession, caused by COVID 19 virus, it is
necessary to plan and consider new investment strategies, in advance. All
relevant institutions should use, this certain period, for planning further
steps in order to attract new and support existing foreign investors since it
is crucial that Bosnia and Herzegovina reacts on time and connects to the
global world companies at the moment when their further development has been
planned.
President of the Federal
Chamber of Commerce presented the Chamber’s activities and gave his full
support to FIPA Agency. He pointed out that they are going to support
organization of the event together with the other institutions whose
representatives Ms. Markovic is going to meet in a coming period.
It is been concluded
that both institutions share joint goal and that they are focused at each
other. Besides, they are going to share information about potential investors.
Two institutions have been working together to attract strategic
investors for investment projects proposed by the companies in Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
