The conference was organized with the aim to promote Bosnia and Herzegovina as a location for investments for Chinese businessmen, to present investment opportunities, including various economic sectors, to link the BiH entrepreneurs with Chinese entrepreneurs, and to establish more significant economic cooperation with a focus on attracting investment and boosting exports.

Economic meetings contribute to the affirmation of the image of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the BiH economic opportunities in the wider world's economic communities, bearing in mind the fact that BiH potentials are under-promoted in the media, and therefore relatively unknown at large markets such as China and other countries.

The 17 Chinese companies from the following industries participated in the conference: textile industry, production of equipment in the field of energy, production of medical equipment, production of mobile homes, plastic production, production of parts from aluminium alloys, production of machines and auto parts, industry, production of stainless steel products, production of wine equipment, international freight forwarders, companies: Ningbo Xianfeng New Material Co.Ltd, Ningbo Sanxing Medical and Electric Co.Ltd, Sino-Italy Tus-Investment Co.Ltd, Ningbo Deepblue Smarthouse Co.Ltd, Ningbo Baiyi Towa Ayto Parts Co.Ltd, Ningbo Xiangshan Wahsun Plastic & Rubber Products Co.Ltd, Ningbo Huaxiang Import & Export Co.Ltd, Ningbo Xiangshan Jiagang Mold Co.Ltd, Ningbo Kaili Machinery Mold Co.Ltd, Ningbo Rund Machinery Manufacturing Co. .Ltd, Xiangshan Tianxing Auto Fittings Co.Ltd, Ningbo Aoxiang Fine Chemical Co.Ltd, Ningbo Moreshine Imp & Exp Co.Ltd, Ningbo Zhonzhan International Exhibition, Ningbo Spring International Freight Co.Ltd, Ningbo Yinliang Foreign Trade Co.Ltd and Ningbo Tinglong Food Machinery Co.Ltd; 35 representatives of companies, as well as 27 promoters / owners of projects and business zones from Bosnia and Herzegovina and 49 representatives of local companies from the machinery industry, production of building materials, publishing activities, production of medicinal herbs, engineering, wine production, etc.

Some of the local companies that participated in the conference are: Eco Industrial Waste Zizi doo, JP Zavod za udžbenike i nastavna sredstva AD I. Novo Sarajevo, Miličević d.o.o, Milfas doo, Nevra Do.o., Ljbiljje d.o.o. Ljubinje, Vinogradi Nuić d.o.o., Sarajevo Invest d.o.o., etc.

After presentation of investment opportunities by FIPA, Chinese entrepreneurs expressed interest in individual local projects, and after the conference, B2B meetings between project holders and interested Chinese investors were held. The biggest interest is expressed in the BiH energy projects, auto parts industry, and wine exports from BiH.

A closer economic cooperation is expected in the upcoming period.

In addition to FIPA representatives, the conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, the Chinese competent institutions of the City of Ningbo and the Embassy of China in BiH, the competent institutions of the FBiH and RS, the Foreign Investors Council of FBiH, and others.
