The purpose of the forum is to promote investment and business cooperation with the Herzegovinian diaspora and present Herzegovina as an attractive investment destination.

The Forum was opened by the representatives of the hosts INTERA Technology Park and the Business Centre of BiH Diaspora. Participants were welcomed by the Head of the USAID Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina Peter Duffy who sent the words of encouragement and announced the continuation of USAID's support for strengthening the role of the diaspora in the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Business Forum of the BiH Diaspora is organized under the auspices of USAID's "Diaspora Invest" Project. Within the conference, numerous entrepreneurs from the Herzegovina region and from the diaspora had an opportunity to present their work and experience, and to establish business connections. The event gathered around 150 participants from the country and the diaspora.

Foreign investors operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina were also presented, and they talked about their positive business experiences.
