In preparation for the diplomatic mission, the newly-appointed Ambassador of BiH to Austria Kemal Kozarić visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) in order to have information about the work of the Agency in the field of attracting foreign investors from Austria and the realized cooperation between the two countries so far.

The FIPA Director Gordan Milinić, in addition to providing basic information on the competencies and activities of the Agency, stressed the importance of Austria in the field of foreign direct investments, stressing that Austria has been the largest investor in BiH with a total investment of 2,492.6 million BAM according to the Central Bank of BiH).

The Ambassador is expected to continue the successful cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Austria, economic associations and other relevant institutions in order to continue the positive trend of the investments inflow. In addition, it is necessary to continue organizing business meetings / forums to present the investment opportunities of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim to animate Austrian businessmen and the BiH diaspora to invest.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of FIPA and of its support for the realization of defined priorities in his future work, stressing that joint work can contribute to a better image of our country.
