Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), the Municipality of Ilijaš and Sarajevo Canton visited the company AMA ADRIATIC LTD Ilijaš on 23rd April 2018 as part of the Post-Investing Support to Foreign Investors in 2018.
It is about a Bosnian-Italian company that was
founded in 2008. It is part of Gruppo AMA Group S.p.A. Italy which is employing
over 1,000 workers in 12 factories in Italy and 30 subsidiaries in the world.
AMA in Bosnia and Herzegovina is engaged in the
production of a seat for work machines, hydraulic cylinders, and since 2013 it began
production of cables for mechanization. Production is organized in 4,500 m²
with 150 permanent employees. In the next year, it is planned to expand and
build a new business facility of 2,100 square meters and to employ between 50
and 60 new workers.
The Company Director Adnan Hajdarpašić
mentioned that the advantages for investing in BiH for this type of production
are reflected in the availability and continuity of electricity supply and
available qualified labour force. In addition, he expressed satisfaction with
the cooperation with the local community and their engagement.
