Accompanied by Ambassador of Palestine to BiH HE Rezeq Namoora, the delegation of Palestinian investors PhD Adnan Mjalli, Director of Migusa Mjalli Investment Group, Khader Aljeraisi, El Djarissi Motors Company Director, Khader Jureisy, and Advisor to the President of Palestine PhD Ahmed Majdalani, visited the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) to discuss with the Director Gordan Milinić the possibility for investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This visit to FIPA was announced during the
last visit of the Ambassador Namoora to the Agency, who conveyed the interest
of businessmen to invest in several economic sectors in BiH.
The Palestinian businessmen, who have been
living and working in the United States and the United Kingdom for many years,
have expressed interest in investing in the banking sector, the chemical and
pharmaceutical industries, and the health sector in BiH.
The Director Milinić introduced businessmen with current foreign investment
inflow trends in BiH, the Agency's competencies and services provided to
foreign investors at all stages of investment, stressing that FIPA is ready at
all times to provide all necessary information to Palestinian businesses and to
serve them at all further phases of talks and launching an investment in BiH.
A presentation on investment
opportunities in BiH, including information on the BiH economic indicators, the
status of foreign investors, the inflow of foreign investments, and foreign
investors operating in BiH was held to businesspeople.
They were also presented the
currently available projects from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry of
BiH.
FIPA will be in touch with
investors in order to provide them with all the necessary information and
support in the subsequent discussions with the BiH authorities and in the
implementation of projects.
