In order to improve the business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to motivate foreign investors to reinvest, representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), the Municipality of Centre and the Sarajevo Canton visited the United Investment and Trading Company UNITIC Ltd Sarajevo on 9 October 2017.

The Director General Samir Šečić, together with
his associates, informed the guests that company UNITIC Ltd has been operating
successfully for 19 years in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 1998 by
a joint venture of Holding Company "UNIS" Sarajevo and "Kuwait
Consulting & Investment Co." Kuwait. The value of foreign investments
is around 30 million KM invested in the reconstruction and modernization of the
acquired facility. Currently, they employ 75 workers and have plans for further
expansion of business activities. The company's activities are aimed at
providing equipped and secure business environment to clients as well as other
content in accordance with international standards.
Around 160 clients recognized the quality of
the business environment offered by the company and they didn’t change their headquarters
for many years.
The meeting was also focused on the business
environment and current business conditions from the perspective of a foreign
investor. They also discussed about reinvesting and implementation phases.
During the meeting, representatives of UNITIC were offered a full support for
the realization of the planned projects.
