Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented at the fair within the joint exhibition space under the slogan "Balkan - Your Next Destination in Europe" together with Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, organized by the Japan Cooperation Agency JICA which also provided promotional brochures translated into Japanese language.

During the four days of the fair, FIPA's representative Mr Nishihama together with representatives of the Embassy of BiH in Tokyo had presentations on Bosnia and Herzegovina as a tourist destination in front of a large number of visitors and representatives of travel agencies in Japan, who had positive reactions to the presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During four days, the fair was visited by more than 150,000 visitors.

Mr Nishihama will start soon negotiations with several travel agencies in Japan on organizing visits to BiH as part of visits to neighbouring countries. In addition, in cooperation with the BiH Embassy in Tokyo, he will continue to work on THE BiH tourism promotion at the Japanese market, considering his good relations with representatives of Japan's tourism industry.

Per year, 6,000 Japanese tourists visit BiH.

Also, we emphasize the fact that thanks to the efforts and work of Mr Nishihama it was launched export of BiH wine to Japan, which represents a significant progress in the export of BiH products in a very demanding Japanese market.
