FIPA presentation at business meetings of entrepreneurs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia

Within the official visit of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr Mladen Ivanić to the Republic of Macedonia on 19 and 20 April 2017, on the initiative of the BiH Embassy in Skopje it was organized the Business Forum of the Republic of Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on 20 April 2017.

On this occasion, Nina Pobrić, FIPA Investment Promotion Department Head, had a presentation on investment opportunities in BiH for the Macedonian businesspeople. They were familiarized with the legal framework, low operating costs, Agreements on Free and Preferential Trade, and the lowest rate of income tax of companies in BiH related to the region and the EU.

On 19 April, Mrs Pobrić also had a presentation for the representatives of Turkish companies from Izmir, members of the cluster of IT companies and cluster of companies in the health sector. On this occasion, she presented projects from those sectors, including reasons for investing in the health sector and the IT sector of BiH.

She also presented possibilities for cooperation of the BiH and Turkish companies within the meeting of the Steering Board of Macedonian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce MATTO.

Meetings with Turkish and Macedonian companies were held in order to discuss about concrete investment projects in BiH. MATTO delegation visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina is announced on this occasion.

Within the Forum Republic of Macedonia - BiH, organized by the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, meetings B2B were organized between businesspeople of two countries.
