Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo Business Forum and Sarajevo Halal Industry Fair, an online meeting was held on August 10, 2023 with representatives of the Misurata Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Libyan company Sana.

The business delegation of Japan, which consisted of 17 companies from the IT, food production, energy, agriculture, tourism, and real estate sectors, visited the competent institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim to have information on opportunities for investing and strengthening economic cooperation.

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton and the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo visited the company TUVADRIA Ltd Sarajevo.

FIPA representatives visited the administration of the City of Široki Brijeg as part of cooperation activities with local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they discussed investment potential and favorable business conditions, which are necessary for the provision of services and the production of competitive products on domestic and foreign markets.

As part of cooperation activities with the competent institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the request of the investor ZM BH Metals, representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) organized a meeting in the Municipality of Ustikolina and the Ministry of Economy of Bosnian-Podrinje Canton to discuss providing support for the realization of the investment from Australia.

Representatives of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) received a delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by the Minister of Foreign Trade, Mr. H.E. dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

The Assistant Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Slavica Korica received the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by Abdullah AlMasoud, trade attaché of the KSA for Europe.

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) attended the twelfth consecutive international conference Sarajevo Business Forum 2023, which this year gathered numerous business people, investors, representatives of governments and ministries from over 40 countries of the region and the world.

The Assistant Director of the of Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Slavica Korica received the representatives of the BH UK Network Anes Cerić and PhD Zdenka Besar in order to discuss the continuation of joint work in the field of promoting BiH at the UK market.

Foreign Investment Promotion Agency Representatives of BiH (FIPA) are together with representatives of twenty BiH companies from the agricultural sector participated at the international fruit and vegetable fair Macfrut 2023, which was held in the period May 3-5 2023, in Rimini, Italy.
