INCENTIVES GIVEN TO FOREIGN INVESTORS IN BIH

Organized by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), the Fund's Board of the Council of Ministers for supports the foreign investors in BiH handed over funding to the representatives of 25 companies that applied for funds and met the criteria. These companies have invested 82 million KM in BiH in 2009 and have hired 614 new workers.

Assets of the Fund for 2010 amount to 2 million KM and have been allocated from the budget of BiH institutions.

Grants are awarded for projects in the manufacturing sector, sector research and development and other projects of importance for the economic development of BiH, except for projects in the areas of hospitality industry, commerce, banking, leasing and insurance.

The traditional manifestation of awarding the most significant investors in BiH in 2009 in four categories has also taken place the same day.

„HEIDELBERGCEMENT“was chosen as the most significant investor in the category “Opening new working places”.

„MESSER GROUP GmBH“was chosen as the most significant investor in the “Greenfield” category (completely new investment).

„NEFTEGAZINKOR“was elected the most important investor in the “Privatization and purchase” category, while the „SL TAKOVO d.o.o“company has been chosen as the most significant investor in the “Common investment” category.
