Within the visit to the Investment and Trade Fair from 8 to 12 June in Ningbo, China, the FIPA Director Gordan Milinić, as a member of the BiH delegation led by the Minister Mirko Šarović took part in the 2nd Ministerial Conference dedicated to the promotion of trade and economic cooperation between China and 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

In addition to
the high delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the conference was attended by
delegations of Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania,
Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Polish, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Albania and
China.
Mr Milinić also
spoke at the 3rd meeting of the Contact Mechanism for IPAs of China
and the countries of Eastern and Central Europe. On this occasion, he presented
proposals for improving the cooperation with Chinese investors and attracting
investments in BiH. In the framework of these events he also informed
participants of previous cooperation with China, the projects that are in
progress and announced investments. He proposed how to improve cooperation and
presented the most important projects that could be of interest to Chinese
investors.
There was also
a presentation on investment opportunities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and it was
presented more than 65 projects for investing.
The FIPA representatives
also had a large number of direct meetings with interested Chinese companies
that have shown interest in the energy, infrastructure, metal sector, tourism
and real estate and other sectors.
All these
events represent an excellent opportunity for establishing stronger cooperation
with China and increase investment by Chinese investors, especially taking into
account the economic and trade development of China.
The BiH delegation
visited pavilion in which 11 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina exhibited
their products.
