FIPA Director met with Swiss investors who are running business in BiH

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and BiH, Swiss Ambassador to BiH, HE Heinrich Maurer organized a business lunch with Swiss investors who are running business in Bosnia and Herzegovina in which participated the Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić, as well as representatives of the Federal Government, the Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić and others.

The Director Milinić talked with representatives of about 30 companies about problems that entrepreneurs face in their business in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as about assistance that FIPA can provide in eliminating administrative barriers.

FIPA presented on this occasion possibilities for promotion, Aftercare Program being implemented, and invited businesspeople to reinvest and to inform their business partners about possibilities for investing in BiH.

Swiss companies seek improving the business environment in BiH, stressing in particular observations on the widespread bureaucracy.

A large number of these entrepreneurs will soon visit FIPA to discuss plans for further expansion of their activities in BiH.
