The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić and the Deputy Director of the Chamber of Commerce for International Trade of China Fan Peikang signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in order to improve the flow of foreign investments from the People's Republic of China, and thus strengthening the economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Memorandum foresees joint activities to promote investment opportunities, exchange of investment projects and information in order to increase Chinese investments in BiH, considering the fact that Chinese investors have shown, in recent years, great interest in investing in BiH. This is confirmed among other by numerous visits of Chinese businessmen to FIPA for getting information on available investment projects and investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the Memorandum, the cooperation between the two institutions will be intensified, which will significantly contribute to promoting the possibilities of the BiH economy in the business associations of the People's Republic of China.

After the signing of this document it is expected concrete results of the cooperation.
