- The Memorandum will contribute to improving the image of Bosnia and Herzegovina and promoting the country in this part of the world
Directors of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), BBI
Bank and Dubai Exports Agency signed on 5 May a Memorandum of Cooperation in
order to improve economic cooperation, export and investment between Dubai and
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Memorandum also provides joint and individual activities to promote
cooperation through the organization of joint events, to coordinate the
organization of joint meetings and conferences that will allow establishing
contacts between investors and owners of investment projects, as well as businessmen
with the aim to concretize joint work on the basis of the signed document and to
achieve business results which will satisfy all parties.
The signatories of the Memorandum will invest joint efforts with the aim
to find investors from Dubai who are interested in trade and investment in
BiH, and vice versa.
They will arrange visits of business delegations from Bosnia and
Herzegovina to Dubai and vice versa to connect entrepreneurs in accordance with
the available financial resources.
They will also use a network of contacts for increasing trade and
investments, for exchanging information in order to promote economic opportunities,
as well as projects that investors are interested in.
Signing of the Memorandum and its implementation will contribute to
improving the image of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to promoting the country in
this part of the world, considering that the FIPA’s lack of financial resources
got so far impossible to undertake more important activities.
