The Director of the Foreign Investments Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA) Gordan Milinić talked with Mr Gabriel Abraham, Director of the USAID-Sida GOLD Project Bosnia and Herzegovina, about activities that are being implemented in BiH through the said project, as well as possibilities for cooperation with FIPA.

The project aims to increase local economic
development through cooperation with municipalities, to increase employment
opportunities and export opportunities, and identifying opportunities and
projects for investing. They currently collaborate with 47 municipalities in
BiH.
In addition to a large number of activities
carried out in our country, they also help the project of BFC SEE
(certification of municipalities for a favourable business environment),
through the work with the municipal administration in order to meet the
criteria required in the process, which contributes to their promotion and
competitiveness when it comes to attracting foreign investment. Currently, 21
municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina started the process of certification.
Representatives of USAID-Sida GOLD Project Bosnia
and Herzegovina support the work of FIPA on attracting foreign investments and they
will support events that FIPA organizes, such as a planned business forum with
Japanese businessmen.
