The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Jelica Grujic, met today with newly appointed group of heads of diplomatic and consular missions of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The group consisted of four ambassadors: Branimir Jukic, Ambassador to Belgium, Izmir Talic, Ambassador to Montenegro, Dusko Kovacevic, Ambassador to Romania, and Senahid Bristic, Ambassador to Kuwait.

The newly appointed ambassadors visited FIPA in order to have more information on foreign investments in BiH, with the aim of contributing to further affirmation of the country in the world. On this occasion, they discussed about improving cooperation between the agency and the diplomatic and consular offices in order to promote the image of BiH as a safe and competitive location for foreign investment. FIPA has so far had good cooperation with the diplomatic and consular missions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with whose assistance they organized, on several occasions, presentation of the BiH investment projects for foreign investors in the world and through which they distributed the promotional materials on the BiH potential target groups.

The agency will still be available for all necessary information and promotional material for the embassies to inform the investors about resources and opportunities for investment and to attract the investor interest for our country and create a better image of BiH.

It is important to emphasize the necessity of close cooperation between FIPA, diplomatic and consular missions and the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH in promotion of BiH and its resources abroad, through joint action, and also other relevant institutions.

In addition, we wish to emphasize that the public institutions and government bodies by providing daily services to potential foreign partners and potential investors directly affect the country's reputation.
